Rud van Nistelrooy
Real Madrid have welcomed back Ruud van Nistlerooy and Mahamadou Diarra back to light training.
The pair has been out of actiom after months out with injury.

They completed their session without any problems or incidents.

It is now hoped that the duo can return to full training in time for pre-season.

Dutch striker van Nistelrooy has been out of action for seven months, after injuring himself on November 5 with five minutes remaining in the match against Juventus.

A week after the incident he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee; an operation that would keep him sidelined for the rest of the season.

Now, seven months later, he is showing the first signs of recovery and no doubt Madrid fans will be pleased to see him back.

Midfielder enforcer Diarra injured his right knee on October 11 whilst with the Malian national team and, even though he was back in action later that month, he had to be operated on in December.

He was predicted to be out for six to nine months and new coach Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping to have him fit for next season.
