Share

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to take over from Guus Hiddink as Chelsea manager at the end of the season.

SunSport has reported that the Milan boss has promised Blues owner Roman Abramovich that he will take up his offer to assume control at Stamford Bridge.

A three year contract worth some 5.8 million pounds-a-year isunder discussion and should be finalized and then signed by June.

Sources within AC Milan confirmed that the club has an agreement in place with Chelsea that will see Ancelotti join the Blues next season.

The only thing left on the agenda is whether Milan would seek compensation from Ancelotti who has a year of his contract left to run.
