Ninković ruled out of Dynamo run-in

Olexandr Shovkovskiy and Taras Mikahlik have both been troubled by injuries in recent days but FC Dynamo Kyiv's main concern is Miloš Ninković, who will be out until the new year with a broken foot.

'Something serious'
The 23-year-old Serbian midfielder suffered his injury during training on Saturday, reflecting: "I landed awkwardly and it immediately felt like I had done something serious." The club have sent him for surgery in Belgium and do not expect him to play again this year. He had made three UEFA Champions League appearances for the side who lie third in Group G.

Smaller concerns
The prospects are less grim for midfielder Mikhalik, who was taken off before the end of Sunday's 1-0 win against FC Lviv with a cut to his ankle which makes him a doubt for the 25 November UEFA Champions League game at Arsenal FC. Goalkeeper Shovkovskiy missed the Lviv game with a strained thigh muscle but is expected to return to training over the next few days.
